About Greenroom
What is Greenroom?
Greenroom is a tour booking platform for independent bands and live music venues. AI agents find venues along your route, negotiate the deals and plan the drives, and you approve every step. Ticket sales, refunds and payouts run through smart contracts on Solana, so the ticket money is held safely until the show is played.
Who is Greenroom for?
Independent and emerging bands and artists who book their own tours, their managers, and the clubs and venues that host them. Booking agencies can use it to run many tours at once. The demo covers venues in Germany, Austria, France, Poland and Czechia.
Where can I follow Greenroom news?
On X at @GreenRoomTours (x.com/GreenRoomTours) for news as it happens, and by email: leave your address on the main page for updates and early access to the full version.
Can I book a real tour with Greenroom today?
Not yet. The demo runs on Solana devnet with play money, so you can plan a tour, approve the route and watch shows sell, settle or get refunded without spending anything. The full version books real venues with real money: leave your email to hear when it opens and to get early access.
Booking a tour
How do I book a tour for my band?
Answer four questions: how many people you bring, the ticket price, where to start and how long to go. Your agent asks every venue along the way at once, compares the offers and plans a route with short drives, a day off after three shows and a last stop near home. You see the map, the dates, the drives and the money, move stops around, and approve. Nothing is booked before you say yes.
How do the AI booking agents work? Can they book without me?
Every band and every venue can have its own agent. The band's agent asks venues and plans the route; a venue's agent answers with its room, its free nights and its terms. Agents follow clear rules, every decision is checked before it is sent, and the band's agent never books on its own: nothing is signed until you approve the route.
How does Greenroom match my band with the right venues?
By the size of your crowd first. A venue's agent says yes only when the people you bring fill at least half of its room, and a band that would overflow a small club is pointed to a bigger one. Genre, your track record, the ticket price and how well the city fits the route count too.
What happens if a show does not sell enough tickets?
Every show has a ticket target agreed with the venue, usually half the room. If it misses the target by its deadline, the show is called off early, before you pay for the van and the hotel, and every fan gets their money back automatically.
Can I reorganize my tour after dates are cancelled?
Yes. For each lost date your agent looks for ways to keep it: a smaller room at the same venue the same night, another room in the same city, or a city near the route. You pick one per date or drop it and close the gap, see the new route, and book the replacements in one approval.
Tickets, money and payouts
How does the ticket escrow work?
When a fan buys a ticket, the money goes into an escrow account for that show on Solana, not to a promoter or a ticket company. The program only lets it out in two ways: split between band, venue and crew once the show is played, or back to every fan if the show misses its ticket target.
When does the band get paid?
Automatically, when the show settles after the date. The ticket money is split between the band, the venue and anyone else on the deal, such as a manager or the crew, at the shares everyone signed. No more chasing the door split for weeks after the show.
How much does Greenroom cost?
Greenroom takes 10% of the ticket money of every show that is played, out of the band's share. Planning a tour, the agents and shows that are called off cost nothing, and fans of a cancelled show get all their money back.
Does the ticket money earn interest before the show?
That is planned for the full version: while fans' money waits in the escrow, it would earn interest for the band instead of for a ticket company, where regulation allows it. The demo uses devnet play money, so it pays no interest.
Which currencies does Greenroom show prices in?
Prices are set in euros, and the switch at the top of the page shows every amount in euros, US dollars (as USDC), SOL or bitcoin at the current exchange rate.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
Only to book your own tour or to run your venue. Greenroom works with Solana wallets such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, OKX Wallet and Jupiter. The demo band, the venue demo, the venue finder and the route planner work without a wallet.
Why is Greenroom built on Solana?
Fast, low-cost transactions make it practical to give every show its own escrow, to refund every fan automatically and to pay band, venue and crew within seconds of the settlement. Every deal both sides sign is public and can be checked by anyone.
For venues
How does Greenroom work for venues?
A venue sets up its profile (city, room and capacity) and an agent that answers bands' requests by its own rules: which genres, how full the room must be, its share of the door. The venue signs each night it wants, tickets go on sale, and its share is paid automatically after the show. The venue demo shows it step by step.
As a venue, how do I avoid a half-empty room?
Your agent only accepts bands that bring enough people to fill at least half of your room, and every show has a ticket target. If a show misses it, you know days before the night instead of on it, the fans are refunded and the date is free again.
